My friend Amy just returned from an incredible month long trip to Asia. She took some stunning photos during her travels and wanted a bit of help making the most of the ones she wanted to print. She very graciously gave me free-reign to Photoshop the heck out of them. I am thrilled with the results (and the best part is Amy is too)! It was very inspiring for me to work on Amy's gorgeous images and it was a fun creative challenge for me to work on someone else's photos rather than my own.
I love doing this kind of work. I'd like to add this as a side service to my regular photography business. So to anyone out there that has some photos lying about that need a little extra something... I'd love to help out. Drop me an email and we'll see what we can do. In the meantime, enjoy July's Vietnam wallpaper calendar. Watch for more of our Asia collaboration images here and on my photoblog.
If you look through the gallery you may notice that the post-processing is a bit more experimental than normal. I've been trying to break out of the confines that I find stock photography has placed on my work and experiment with my more creative side. This doesn't mean I'll be giving up on the stock agencies - they'll be getting the straight forward versions of the images. I'm curious, as always to know what you think.
If you don't have time to look through the entire gallery, I'll be posting my favourites on my ACM Photography photoblog, beginning next week. You can find the entire Valladolid Gallery here, or by going to the photos section of CheeseWeb.
This is one of my latest works that I've added to RedBubble. I've been experimenting with this concept for a few days now and this was the result. I'd love to know what you think. You can see this work and more in my RedBubble portfolio.
It's that time again... June's desktop wallpaper calendars are here. This month's calendar is inspired by vintage travel postcards. (Only in this case the images are not that vintage...)
You can download your wallpaper here.
I'm also curious what YOU would like to see on your desktop. Are there any particular images you would like to see? Do you prefer single images or collages? Would you rather just have images and no calendar at all? That's why I'd like you to take a second and cast your votes. I live to make you all happy :)

A couple of months ago, I posted a slide show of my 2007 Keukenhof photos. Even though I'm still working on the last of my slides (currently our trip to Valladolid last year), I've been trying to stay on top of editing my digital photos.
This year, as you may recall, was the first year I shot Keukenhof digitally. I finished editing the images right before we moved. Take a peak at the Keukenhof 2008 slide show and let me know what you think. Are they better, worse or the same level of quality as the slides?
I hope you enjoy them!
