This months calendar is something a bit different. Yes, it's still my same collage-style (which won out in the votes so I'm glad you are enjoying what I'm doing with these. What's different is that these aren't exactly my images.

My friend Amy just returned from an incredible month long trip to Asia. She took some stunning photos during her travels and wanted a bit of help making the most of the ones she wanted to print. She very graciously gave me free-reign to Photoshop the heck out of them. I am thrilled with the results (and the best part is Amy is too)! It was very inspiring for me to work on Amy's gorgeous images and it was a fun creative challenge for me to work on someone else's photos rather than my own.

I love doing this kind of work. I'd like to add this as a side service to my regular photography business. So to anyone out there that has some photos lying about that need a little extra something... I'd love to help out. Drop me an email and we'll see what we can do. I've finished up the photos from our trip to Valladolid, Spain taken last June. They brought back a lot of good memories of a great little city and a fun weekend getaway.

If you look through the gallery you may notice that the post-processing is a bit more experimental than normal. I've been trying to break out of the confines that I find stock photography has placed on my work and experiment with my more creative side. This doesn't mean I'll be giving up on the stock agencies - they'll be getting the straight forward versions of the images. I'm curious, as always to know what you think.
