We Now Return To Our Regularly Scheduled CheeseWeb
Ok, so I realise I’ve basically
committed blog suicide by not posting in over a month. What a month it has
been. It was fantastic to have Mom and Dad here for so long and to travel to
all of the amazing places we went. My brain can hardly process it all but I do
know that we were really fortunate to see and do everything that we saw and
did.
Last week was bit rough for me. Normally I feel relieved by the end of a vacation or a visit – no matter how much fun it was, I’m generally ready to get back to my routine. Last week however, I just didn’t feel like facing it. After an entire month of having people around me non-stop, I would have expected to be glad to be on my own. Instead I found myself lonely and overwhelmed by all of the things I have to do in the upcoming months. I felt sapped of energy and the thought of blogging or working made me want to hide under my desk. So I apologize if you’ve been waiting for the stories. I promise there are a lot of them and they will be coming.
I have a few different irons on the fire which I will blog about in the future when things are a bit more concrete. Suffice it to say that with these upcoming projects on my mind, the 1000 photos that are sitting on my hard-drive, waiting to be processed, are a bit overwhelming.
I know that normally I blog about a trip immediately after I return. This time is going to be a bit different. I will be blogging about each location as I finish the photos from that part of the trip. It will be a blog in many instalments but that’s the only way I’ll be able to handle it all so I hope you’ll be patient with me. Ok, so that’s my whining for today.
If you keep your eyes on my Photoblog, you’ll see that the first of the trip photos started to come through today. The first stage of our travels was in the Netherlands and I will blog about it in a few days. I want to thank my parents for making the trip over here again and for putting up with Andrew and me for the past month. I love you both!

I remember that place... hope they enjoyed Barthelona-Barcelona as much as we did. I'm sure they have even better stories to tell. It looks like it was warm there! Lucky parents in law.
