Madonna - Sticky & Sweet - Amsterdam 2008
It was worth waiting 25 years for. When Madonna launched in to Like a Prayer, I think I shed a little tear.
Madge may not have the greatest vocal range in the universe but she is an entertainer. She can dance up a storm (man the woman is fit) and she knows her audience. Despite the fact that it was the Sticky and Sweet tour, she still had over 50% of the set as old songs. Even though we were in the nosebleed seats, we still felt like we were part of the action.
Thank you Andrew for persevering to get me tickets. I'm sporting my Hard Candy t-shirt today with pride.
Here's a taste of the tour... The opening number:
and one of the shining moments of the concert... Too bad the videographer didn't get more of the car, but still a good shot.

How can you not love Madonna? I have been so fascinated with her since I was in my early teens! She changes and swings to the tune of each progressing song and era with such ease...It's Great! I got my floor tickets for her concert here in Boston last week (and I didn't think it was a bad price? $250 for Floor?) from http://www.esellout.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?kwds=Madonna in case anyone else is looking to see her! I have now seen her in person four times...She was awesome each time!!! I hope she continues to tour for years to come but I always dread the day she stops...
Madonna forever! - Sarah
You are so lucky! Man, it's soooo hard to get tickets to a Madonna show. Kudos to Andrew.
It is hard to get tickets to her shows and honestly I didn't think we would... but he stuck it out and got them!
