Keukenhof Through The Years
It's almost Keukenhof time again (Yay) and to celebrate I've finally started working on last year's Keukenhof photos... yes, I'm just a little bit behind.
Andrew and I have visited Keukenhof four times now. It's always different. We've been to Keukenhof on the first weekend it has opened and we've been there near the end of the season. Mother nature, being the unpredictable gal she is, always has something different in store (the hundreds of gardeners at the park have some input too).
It's interesting for me to see how my photography style has evolved over time as well. Today I finished up an image of a waterfall in the park. I've photographed this same spot before. Each time my take on it was a bit different and each time the subject itself was slightly changed.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. What's your favorite?

Unfortunately I didn't photograph the waterfall in 2005

Very cool. I think I like 2006 best: the way it's framed appeals to me.
Tough assignment ... gone back a couple of times to re-think ... each very different in center of interest, the first draws me to the flow of the water, the second to the flow of the stonework, the third to the sweep of the panorama. They are each outstanding and accomplish their task effectively ... if I were able to hang only one on my wall, it would be the first ... it has a classical "S" composition and allows the eye to follow the water in its endless journey, into,in and around, and out of the frame ... fortunately for all of us with different preferences we have a photographer for all seasons ... love your stuff ... lotsalov ... pp
