Anouk Concert

Sorry I fell off the blogging wagon this week. It was kind of a blah week for me. That said the concert last Friday was even better than I hoped.

Once again we had rather crap seats which we traded at the last second for rather good seats. When we first sat down we could barely see the monitors because of the overhang from the seats above us. Oddly though, there were about five rows of seats ahead of us that they didn't sell... you could see everyone eyeing the empty seats... waiting to pounce. Right before Anouk came out, one person moved forward. Within seconds everyone else followed suit and we ended up with a great view of the monitor and a pretty good view of the stage as well.

Anouk preformed for over 2 hours and she sang all of our favorites as well as most of her new album. The stage was arranged with ramps circling the audience and she spent a lot of time walking through the crowd. I actually took my camera with me this time and recorded some videos (crappy audio but what can you do). Here's a sample and I'll post the rest on Youtube if you are interested.
