The Other Distraction

I almost forgot... This week, there's been another rather large distraction (22 inches to be exact). It's been coming for a while now. My laptop, Gladys, was obviously a Canadian at heart. She wasn't enjoying Belgium and was committing slow but certain suicide. First it was her battery, then the power cord, finally she just started turning herself off in mid process. Before I lost everything, I needed to get a new machine. Andrew was on the case (not like him to turn down an opportunity to purchase hardware). So last Saturday, after a day of searching for parts (and ways to pay for them) we arrived home with all the bits and pieces for Andrew to build my new computer. Allow me to introduce - Genevieve.
