100 Things

I have been working on this list for a while now. I know a lot of other bloggers have done it so their readers know a bit more about them. So here I am in 100 Things:

1. I am Canadian
2. I was born in New Brunswick
3. I married and lived in Nova Scotia
4. I live in Belgium
5. I have a combined honors degree in Journalism and International Development Studies.
6. I have certificates in Photography and Digital Imaging
7. I am married to a computer geek
8. I have four cats
9. I have a rescued Saint Bernard
10. My pets are spoiled
11. I am not planning on having any children
12. I have a weird blood disorder that causes my blood to clot if I don't take drugs
13. I hate taking drugs everyday
14. I love chocolate, but have acquired a taste for only good, expensive chocolate
15. I have expensive tastes period
16. Given the choice, I would rather spend money to do things with loved ones than acquire possessions
17. I love shoes
18. I love bags
19. My favorite colour is orange
20. I spell colour with a U because that's the way the Queen taught us to do it
21. I love animals more than most people
22. I am anti-social
23. I would rather have a small group of loyal friends that I trust than a huge circle of acquaintances
24. I am fiercely loyal to friends and family
25. I hate and irrationally fear spiders
26. I need coffee to function in the morning
27. I am a crappy house keeper
28. I don't like people seeing that I am a crappy house keeper but will tell them I am willingly
29. I been to every continental American state except: Nevada, Washington and Oregon
30. I have only been to five Canadian provinces
31. I think this fact is sad
32. I have also traveled extensively in Europe and taken a Caribbean cruise
33. My wish is to visit every continent
34. I suck at math and sciences
35. I am a terrible speller

39. I think jogging is stupid

41. I love to sing in the car

44. My favorite types of books are literary travel, mysteries and really good literature
45. My two favorite books are The Life of Pi and A Fine Balance

47. I am addicted to magazines

49. I don't watch TV anymore

52. I love movies, especially musicals
53. I have a very wide ranging taste in music

56. I try to eat organic whenever I can
57. When I was a kid I hated ALL vegetables, except potatoes
58. My friends are very eclectic but all fascinating and wonderful

64. I get severely depressed if the weather is bad for long periods of time

93. I have an inexplicable obsession with India in which I read about it constantly; have taken classes about it in university and at the same time desire to go there and fear visiting it, lest I not like it
94. I am an only child
95. I think my parents are wonderful
96. I love my in-laws and think having a brother and sister-in-law is great because I never had to go through the fighting siblings stage
97. I wish I had a better grasp of geography but realize that mine is better than that of many people I know
98. I believe in a higher power but organized religions that preach of only one way to God worry me
