This quote is taken from the Will Smith song Ms. Holy Roller. The first time I heard it, it really struck me how similar to my own beliefs it was. It makes me sad and angry that so many of the conflicts in the world today are started in the name of religion. In my mind, God does not condone killing and acts of hate under any circumstances.
